Autonomous Evaluation Systems

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Student has to acquire a minimum attendance of 85% and Minimum CIE marks of 40% in each course to be eligible to take up SEE.
  • Any student who fails to have 85% attendance will be declared as NSAR (Not Satisfied Attendance Requirement)
  • Issuing the grade cards, Transcripts and PDC.
  • And scores less than 40% will be declared as NSSR (Not Satisfied Sessional Requirement).

GRADE POINT AVERAGES

SGPA and CGPA:The credit index can be used further for calculating the Semester Grade Point Average (SGPA) and the Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA), both of which being important performance indices of the student. While

  • SGPA is equal to the credit index for a semester divided by the total number of credits registered by the student in that semester
  • CGPA gives the sum total of credit indices of all the previous semesters divided by the total number of credits registered in all these semesters

ELIGIBILITY TO PROGRESS FOR THE NEXT ACADEMIC YEAR

  • Students having not more than four F Grade in the two semester of I year of the Programme shall be eligible to move to second year.
  • Students having not more than four F grade in the Four semester of I and II year shall be eligible to move to III year.
  • Student who has earned all the prescribed credits of I year, and having not more than four F grades in the four semesters of II and III year shall be eligible to move to IV year.
